EP REVIEW: Wasted Sinners – Unleashed & Dangerous

- By SJRoxx

Artist: Wasted Sinners
Title: Unleashed & Dangerous
Genre: Rock N Roll

The Bio states that ‘Wasted  Sinners are a 4 piece sleazy Rock n Roll band from London‘, well that’s me hooked! Well no because I’ve listened to numerous sleazy bands around the internet and not always been impressed. So I had a listen to these dudes on FB and liked what I heard!

Here we have their 6 track EP which is a couple of years old now ‘Unleashed & Dangerous’. The opening song kicks in with a ‘Motley Crue’ type riff and the second song also sounds dated but in a good 80s way! On ‘Questions’ they slow things down a bit, this is a lovely hauntingly atmospheric number, with some excellent guitar work and it builds into a splendid classic rock climax.

A little bass intro and riff takes us into ‘I Want More’ solid rhythm, melodic hooks and a chorus which does leave me wanting more. This leads us nicely into another beautiful song ‘I’m Falling’ not quite a ballad just a sleazy slower tune, played with passion and intensity. The pace is picked up with the rockingly good party anthem ‘Drugs & Angels’.

I am really looking forward to seeing this band live, lets hope some venues and promoters can entice them into playing some more gigs ‘up north’. 4 Stars
