AUTUMN WHISPERS’ Debut Album, “Cry of Dereliction Vol I” Is Out Now!
Norwegian band, AUTUMN WHISPERS, describe their music as “Poetic Rock with Progressive and Classical Elements based on Enigmatic Poetry“. Their debut album, released through the label Autumn Whispers Music, is the first in the album series “Cry of Dereliction”. You can hear clips of the album tracks in the video below.
The music contains elements from the 70s British music scene, progressive rock, acoustic and classic music and is further characterized by tuneful melodies from the skilled musicians.
The band members, who are from Norway, Greece, Malaysia and England, have a wide range of musical backgrounds: From classical, byzantine and improvisational music, classic pop and progressive, they offer a solid performance on the album.
The album series will present selected poems from the world’s most recognized poets, as well as their own poems. Poetry brings timeless messages, and is equally applicable today as when they were written.
The album was recorded in Elduro studio and Lydkjokkenet, mixed by Oystein Vesaas and produced by Dino Steffens and Tirill Mohn. Mastered by Nils Einar Vinjor.
