FALLING RED Confirmed To Support STEEL PANTHER On UK Tour!
FALLING RED are confirmed as Special Guests on the nine date STEEL PANTHER UK tour this November. Always showing promise of being a break through band, clinching the support slot on Steel Panther’s biggest ever Headline UK tour will galvanize Falling Red’s reputation as one of the leading live bands to surface from the UK Rock scene.
Falling Red, originally formed in the Cumbrian town of Carlisle in 2006, were born from a passion for Stadium Rock bands such as Guns N’ Roses, Kiss, Mötley Crüe, Metallica and Iron Maiden. Quick to develop their own style they began writing their own material and recorded the self-produced Demo CD ‘If You Ain’t Down With The Rock…’ in 2007 to sell at gigs. Shortly after signing a Management deal with Raz White Entertainment (April 2009) they sold out of the 1000 pressed copies.
The band branched out and began gigging the length and breadth of the UK and signed a Licensing Deal with Rocksector Records in October 2009. Their first official release was the debut album Shake The Faith in March 2010 which received critical acclaim throughout the Rock Press.
The band hit the road to promote the album, playing hundreds of their own shows alongside tours with Sebastian Bach, Black Spiders, Magnum, GUN, Dave Evans (original AC/DC vocalist), Dirty Penny, Tigertailz and many others. Branching into Europe soon followed with memorable headline dates in Norway and Belgium.
Falling Red released a four track ep Hasta La Victoria Siempre! in April 2011 via Rocksector Records.
Between playing Hard Rock Hell V (Dec 2011) and Hammerfest IV (March 2012) the band made a substantial line-up change bringing in a new bassist and rhythm guitarist. Headline shows at London Underworld, Manchester Academy 3 and Legends, Newcastle cemented the new formation and increased the bands fan base further.

Perhaps the most tongue in cheek band of all time, Los Angeles glam metal rockers Steel Panther have carved out a niche as both a parody of and homage to the heyday of ‘80’s hairspray rock. With big hair and even bigger riffs Steel Panther rock in a way most bands wouldn’t dare to. Front man Michael Starr’s onstage banter is worth the price of admission alone as he and the band regale the audience with staged fights and humorous musing on the classic excesses of rock bands. Don’t miss these Steel Panther shows; there are few bands more entertaining.
