TBFM IS EVOLVING: What does that actually mean? Well, its New Year’s Day and we can now explain it all in more detail.
Today, 6 and a half years after the launch of TBFM Radio we launch the beginning of a new era for the TBFM brand. Starting out just as a back bedroom radio station, we have grown at a rapid rate and skipping forward to today, we have over 120 staff working for TBFM.
TBFM has mainly been associated with being an internet radio station. That is true but the last 4 years we have expanded into a printed magazine, added a record label and management company, a weekly independent music chart, a lotto branch and lots more.
So today, we proudly reveal the TBFM Network as our official name. Over the next 6 months leading up to our 7th Birthday a lot more sense will come about for what we are doing but in a nutshell, all the divisions of TBFM will be branded under one umbrella, TBFM Network.
At the forefront of the independent rock, punk and metal industry we felt it was time to put everything together and 2016 is the year we plan to really thrive in all areas. Things to look forward too..
Probably the most notable change/update is the TBFM skull logo. We have had that same one since starting in 2009 but thanks to the creative mind of Andy Pilkington (Very Metal Art) we have made some significant changes to give it a more up to date look. We are extremely pleased with the way it came out and as our logo is the most identifiable part of the brand it was important that we got it right. I am sure you will all agree with the changes. A full range of cool merchandise will be launched soon including t-shirts, hoodies, patches and more.
Festivals & Events: As many of you know, we love to be involved sponsoring and promoting events and festivals. With that it is fantastic that we can confirm our presense, promotion and backing to the following events…

There are a few more still to confirm and announce but its looking exciting for us as well as the fans. Great to see so many thriving festivals in 2016.
We will also be dedicating a lot of time to the awesome Metal 2 The Masses competition’s that are hosted around the UK (and further afield) for places at Bloodstock Open Air. We covered all the heats and broadcast the final live for the London one last year. That is now expanding as we have reporters on scene at Wolverhampton and Leicester too for 2016 as well as London.
We are expanding the record label and management too. With the recent arrivals of Hell’s Addiction, Bloodyard and Mad Hatter 2.0 the roster is increasing and the quality is fantastic. More news to reveal over the coming months including tours, album releases and major festival announcements for the bands.
The 4th TBFM Factor competition kicks off this weekend with the announcement of the final 100 bands into the final knock out stages. With over £3,000 in prizes for the winner, it will once again be a tightly fought competition for all the bands.
While we work hard over the next few months evolving the brand, we have launched the TBFM Network website which helps get you to all the different divisions of TBFM. The website can be found at http://www.tbfmnetwork.com and is mobile friendly too! Its a simple one click button site straight to the magazine, the radio station, the TV site and all other sections plus links direct to the Android and iOS apps.
With the launch of TBFM TV, TBFM Galleries and everything else, its going to take time to take it all in. Keep an eye on our websites and Facebook pages for all updates as we take the TBFM brand to new heights. The evolution has begun…. TBFM Network is now here!
