After an absence of 2 months, the TBFM Magazine is back again! We had the summer off due to the sheer volume of gigs and festival dates, the relocation of the TBFM Studio’s and the TBFM 4th Birthday Bash.
On the return this September we have increased the number of venues, especially around the London area as the demand is still growing for us to distribute across the UK.
Issue Nine features local boys Resin, a grunge band from the home of TBFM in Hinckley, Leicestershire.
They have just relaunched their debut album and also got themselves a nice little slot at Bloodstock Open Air on the acoustic stage after losing out in the final via Metal 2 the Masses. We feature an exclusive interview with the band and a full review of their album ‘Embrace the Fall’.
Also in this issue we feature the new Stone Kings EP, ‘Reset’ which was exclusively played first on TBFM in recent weeks. Leeds based hardcore punk band ‘Autopsy Boys’ ahead of the highly anticipated single launch of ‘Crushing on Cynthia Leech’.
The Roxxy Recommends section this month features an in depth look at the 19 bands in the final of Highway to Hell 4 which takes place the first weekend of October at the Classic Grand in Glasgow. Winners get the opportunity to play Hard Rock Hell and Hammerfest plus a chance to play the awesome Hard Rock Hell Roadtrip.
We say hello to a brand new regular columnist, CEO of Rocksector Records, Mark Appleton. He will be giving us his thoughts on the music scene from a different view. We are sure you will all enjoy his writing.
