What a first semi final!!! It has been exhausting just watching the battle going on this week. All ten bands have been superb both musically and promotionally! Its hard to see half of these bands not make it but there has to be some out to have a final.
So we would like to give a massive congratulations to the bands who made it through to the final. Firstly, based on the public votes the top 3 bands going through are Gabriel, Siderian and Deified. So close between the bands all week long.
Now for the judge votes. Again to explain this, the judges are made up from TBFM DJ’s and sponsors of the competition. At the start of the week they were asked to score all 10 bands. We added those scores together and the top 2 that were not of the 3 bands already through from public voting go through to the final. So, we’d like to welcome into the final Synaptik and Vain Galen.
We said the battle was a tough one… in the 10 heats combined, we recorded a total of just over 10,000 votes. In this one semi final a massive 4,133 votes were confirmed. That is incredible. We wish these bands the best of luck in the final which goes on air Sunday 24th April at 5pm UK time.
Now for the second semi final… who shall join the 5 bands?
